Direct Book
Let guests book smaller events themselves — with payment up front.
Direct Book is self-serve booking for the events you're happy to sell without a sales cycle — private dining, large-party reservations, semi-private spaces.
The guest experience
Guests open your Direct Book link, pick an event style, choose a date and time from your real availability, optionally build a menu from the items you expose, enter their details, and pay the deposit with a card — right on the page. They get a confirmation and the request lands in your queue as Pending.
Setup
Settings → Direct Book controls everything per form:
- Styles — which event types are offered, with guest-facing labels.
- Hours & availability — bookable windows by day, slot interval, lead time, and blackout dates. Real events on the calendar block conflicting slots automatically.
- Menu — which catalog items/packages guests can pick, with locked quantities for packages.
- Deposits — full prepayment or a percentage, per style.
- Branding & copy — logo, colors, header text, terms, and the thank-you message.
Accept or decline
Each request creates a pending booking + event. Accept confirms it (status → Definite); Reject declines and automatically refunds the deposit. Requests you don't answer expire on their own, with the deposit refunded.
