Statuses & the pipeline
What each status means and how changes are tracked.
Bookings and events move through a shared status ladder:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Prospect | Early conversation — space not held. |
| Tentative | Space is held, not yet contracted. |
| Definite | Contracted / confirmed business. |
| Pending | Awaiting a decision (used by Direct Book requests). |
| Lost | The business went away — always with a reason. |
| Closed | The event happened and is fully settled. |
Status colors
Statuses are color-coded consistently everywhere — badges, the calendar, and reports — so a glance tells you how firm the business is.
History & audit
Every status change writes a status history entry and an activity log line (who, when, from → to). Click Show Status History on any event or booking to see its journey.
